Polding Winter Sports Trials (netball, rugby league, hockey and football/ soccer) were held at Tamworth on Friday, 3rd May. Lismore team managers were very happy with the attitude and behaviour of the Lismore students as well as the skills and talent of the students.
All students performed well with many making the Possibles and Probables stage of the selection trials in all sports.

The Diocesan Hockey Trials were held on Wednesday 6th of March at Grafton Hockey Fields. There was a great turnout and the quality of players was excellent. Congratulations to students who were selected in the 2024 Diocesan Hockey teams.

A very successful Lismore Diocesan Primary Winter trials were held Friday 8th March.
Thank you to the Diocesan conveners, selectors, zone-team managers, first-aid officers, development officers and Grafton council, as well as local sports bodies, for combining to make this year’s trials very successful.
The students displayed exceptional skills and determination, which made the selection process difficult. There were very good student numbers at all sports trials once again this year.

A very successful Lismore Diocesan Primary Winter trials in rugby league (opens & 11yrs), netball and hockey in Grafton were held on the 18th of March. Football (Soccer) trials were held on synthetic hockey fields at Grafton on 23 March due to ground closures from continual wet weather.
Thank you to the Diocesan conveners, selectors, zone-team managers, first-aid officers, development officers and Grafton council, as well as local sports bodies, for combining to make this year’s trials very successful. This was the fifth attempt to hold our winter sports trials due to consistent wet weather, flooding and ground closures.
The students displayed exceptional skills and determination, which made the selection process difficult. There were very good student numbers at all sports trials, especially in hockey again this year.
Lismore Diocesan teams are to attend Polding selection trials at Bathurst on Friday, 29 April.
