2024 LISMORE DIOCESAN NETBALL TRIALS - FRIDAY 5 APRIL 2024

Lismore Diocesan netball selection trials for 15s & 18s were held on Friday, 5th April, at Coffs Harbour Sportz Central Indoor Courts. Thank you to Danielle McAra who convened a very well-run trial. Thank you to the selectors, team managers, coaches, referees and the medic who attended this event.

Congratulations to all students whose skill levels were very high this first year of conducting diocesan secondary netball trials, the players made the selection process very difficult.

An 18 years and a 15 years team were selected. The 15 years team will attend CCC trials in Penrith on the 8th of May and the 18 years team will attend CCC trials at Neball Central on the 27th of August.

NSWCCC NETBALL SELECTIONS 2022

Congratulations to Claire Pieren ( MacKillop College, Port Macquarie) who gained selection in the NSWCCC 15’s netball team for 2022.

LISMORE DIOCESAN NETBALL CHAMPIONSHIPS 2022 – 8 SEPTEMBER PORT MACQUARIE

The Lismore Diocesan Netball Championships were held in Port Macquarie on Thursday, 8 September 2022.  The day was played in perfect conditions at Macquarie Park Netball Courts.

Congratulations to the Lismore convener, Erin Denham from MacKillop College, Port Macquarie, who organised a great day at our Lismore Diocesan Netball Championships held on Thursday, 8 September, in Port Macquarie. It is great to provide interschool sport again this year after the last two challenging years with COVID and even with flooding and wet weather.

Well done to all teams who participated this year at Port Macquarie. Thank you to all who contributed to making the day very successful.

Thank you to all of the schools that participated in our Diocesan Netball Championships today. There was a great sense of comradery amongst the teams, and it was great to see multiple schools represented in the Finals.

I would like to sincerely thank Noel, Gretel, Michelle, Maureen & Leanne, who assisted with the Umpires and at Tournament Control. Our First Aid Officer, Doug, did a great job. To Maxine, Sheryl and Steve for making sure we were well fed and to the HVNA team for providing a great facility to host.

Finally, please pass on my thanks to your Coaches, Students and Umpires – they were fantastic today. It was a pleasure to host everyone.
