The 2024 Under 15s Water Polo Carnival was held at the Alstonville Aquatic Centre on Thursday 21st November. In overcast conditions we were blessed with extremely competitive matches.
Once again staff had a positive attitude as did the students. Students followed all instructions when asked, they entered the pool safely at all times and played with great spirit. The crowd participation was amazing especially with an extra time play off in the boys to decide the winners of Pool A and a penalty goal shoot out in the girls Final that no one will forget!
Thank you to the schools who travelled, it is much appreciated. Thank you to both Emily and Noah the XCC and Woodlawn Sports trainees for scoring and timekeeping. Special thanks to Simon Andrews & Pat Kennedy for all of his hard work and preparation for the carnival. A huge thank you to Greg Fettell at the Alstonville Pool and his referees who were flat out all day.
