The Polding Swimming selection championships were held at Homebush in Sydney on Wednesday 3rd April. There were 69 students from Lismore Diocese who attended the Polding selection trials in Sydney. Thanks to the parents who were wonderful and who made the effort to get their children to Sydney.
Thank you finally to the Lismore Diocesan students who performed beautifully in the pool, with many coming away with medals and personal best times
The Lismore Relay teams all performed very well, with many now representing Polding at the NSWPSSA State swimming championships at Homebush on the 5th and 6th of April in Sydney. In a fantastic individual achievement, Thomas McCormack from St Mary's in Casino won all of his 6 events in the 12 years boys.
The 2024 Lismore Diocesan Primary Swimming Carnival was held at Macksville on Friday, 1st March—a successful day with some outstanding results in the pool. The Paddy Dent Shield was won by Clarence Zone. Congratulations to the age swimming champions and runners-up in age divisions. Thank you to all students who represented their zone this year.

Congratulations to Coco Becker and Tim Wellm from Lismore Diocese, who were selected for the Primary NSWPSSA team following the State Carnival at Homebush in Sydney.
The Polding Swimming selection championships were held at Homebush in Sydney on Tuesday, 22 March. There were 64 students from Lismore Diocese who attended the Polding selection trials in what certainly were trying and difficult weather conditions in getting to Sydney. Thanks to the parents who were wonderful and who made large sacrifices in getting their children to Sydney.
Thank you finally to the Lismore Diocesan students who performed beautifully in the pool, with many coming away with medals, personal bests and one student Coco Becker (junior girls), breaking two Polding records ( junior butterfly and junior IM (individual medley).
The Lismore Relay teams all performed very well, with many now representing Polding at the NSWPSSA State swimming championships at Homebush on 30 March and 1 April in Sydney.

The 2022 Lismore Diocesan Primary Swimming Carnival was held at Tweed Aquatic Pool at Murwillumbah on Wednesday, 23 February. A really successful day (even allowing for the rain in the morning) with some outstanding results in the pool. There were two new diocesan records broken in the pool this year (congratulations to Coco Becker from Coffs Harbour). The Paddy Dent Shield was won by Clarence Zone. Congratulations to the age swimming champions and runners-up in age divisions. Thank you to all students who represented their zone this year.
