NSWPSSA CROSS COUNTRY – FRIDAY 22ND JULY 2022 EASTERN CREEK, SYDNEY

The N.S.W. P.S.S.A. State cross country was held at Eastern Creek, Sydney on Friday 22nd July. Congratulations to all  Lismore Diocesan primary students who competed as part of the Polding team at this event. Excellent result for Amirah Shah from St Carthage’s Primary in Lismore who finished second in the girls 12/13 years girls 3000 metres.

CPS / POLDING CROSS COUNTRY – 7TH JUNE 2022 EASTERN CREEK MOTORWAY 

The CPS Polding and secondary CCC cross country selection trials were held at Eastern Creek, Sydney on Tuesday 7th June.

Congratulations to all 60 primary students from Lismore Diocese for competing this year at Eastern Creek. Congratulations on your performance and achievements at this year’s cross country. 

The following 12 primary students from Lismore Diocese were outstanding in their event and were placed in the top 6 runners and now have the opportunity to attend the NSWPSSA State Cross Country at Eastern Creek on Friday 22nd July.

LISMORE DIOCESAN CROSS COUNTRY – 24TH MAY 2022 GRAFTON RACE COURSE 

Under blue skies, and at times black clouds and showers the Primary Diocesan cross country was held yesterday ( Tuesday 24th May) at Grafton Race Course. This facility provided excellent grandstand coverage, canteen, and amenities block. It was a really good day.

My thanks to convener Emma Davis  St Joseph’s, South Grafton ) who did a fantastic job in organising this event. Thank you to Peter Berrington (electronic timing tags), Grafton Race Course management, zone managers, and parents.
 
Congratulations to the students who competed yesterday and tried very hard in their event on the course.

The first 8 runners home in each age division now have the opportunity to represent Lismore Diocese at Eastern Creek in Sydney on Tuesday 7th June at Polding trials.

LISMORE DIOCESAN CROSS COUNTRY – 25TH MAY 2021 MCAULEY COLLEGE, SOUTH GRAFTON

The 2021 Lismore Diocesan Primary Cross Country was held at McAuley College at  South Grafton on Tuesday 25th May. Approximately 260 students from Catholic primary schools from Tweed, Richmond, Clarence and Hasting Zones attended the day.

This year saw the use of electronic timing tags to record the placings of students in all age divisions. Age divisions consisted of 8/9 years, 10 years, 11 years, and 12/13 years in both boys and girls.

Students who placed in the first 8 runners have the opportunity to represent Lismore Diocese at the Polding Cross Country Championships that will be held at Eastern Creek on Tuesday  8th June.

Congratulations to all students who ran at the Lismore cross country this year at Grafton.

The Paddy Dent Shield was won by Tweed  Zone.
