Lismore Diocesan AFL Trails Grafton 5th March 2015

We actually congratulate all 39 boys who were in attendance but especially the 14 boys who gained selection in the dicoesan squad - click further below. They take our best wishes with them to the Polding Trials.

Convener Jason Winning reported on the high level of skill on display despite the hot conditions experienced on the day.

Sincere thanks to Jason and to co-convener Jeff Arkinstall for their time, expertise and enthusiasm, and for their management of the oppressive conditions for participants. And a big  thank you to Jay Close and Matt Crawley from NSWAFL Development for your attendance (Jay) and support (Matt).

It wasn't long ago that we were lucky if we had 10 nominations for Diocesan trials. The rise in quality and quantity we've seen in recent years - with 2015 definitely being our highest number of participants - has been very pleasing.
